Tasty and convenient!

They are delicious and very comfortable. Just like homemade pinto beans and you don't have to cook for hours. I love her. I just wish they were a little cheaper but they are worth it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Good taste for camping and hiking

Overall, I liked this chili. The taste is good. The only thing stopping it from getting a 5 star rating is that it takes much longer than 20 minutes for the tomato slices to rehydrate. In addition, tomato slices are very acidic. But that's enough to order again.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Defective

Kind of gross to be honest.

Yes, it's vegan, gluten free and everything it says on the label. How do I know? The taste is correspondingly bad. One of the worst camping meals I've ever had. Mild, chewy, and contains *much* more corn than any chili.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Good to Go is the best meal I have ever eaten

Good to Go is the best meal I have ever eaten. All are solid and some of them are so good that if served to me in a restaurant I wouldn't complain. If you're still choking on your own Mountain House or MRE, try Pad Thai. you won't come back

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

My family doesn't like it

Doesn't moisturize well and tastes bland. Eternal al-senat, despite all known camper tricks. I got this because my kid doesn't like other hot chili packs, but the bad taste took this meal in a different direction. My family refused to eat it even after trying some salt and hot sauce. The family generally doesn't really like this brand for the same reasons: bland and harsh.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I'll add later

I really wanted to love this brand

I really wanted to love this brand but I really couldn't. I tried three flavors and for some reason they all taste the same. Everything seems to contain Indian spices, although those spices have nothing to do with the flavor chosen. Also, the dishes won't be fully cooked even if you follow the directions carefully. I hope they can continue to develop their products as they desperately need a healthier dehydrated food option!

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Very expensive

hit the point! for camping and hiking

This is the final adventure of my pre-travel taste test adventure for dehydrated foods. As a chilli connoisseur expecting disappointment, I was pleasantly surprised. The chili is quite thick (after you give it a good stir) and has a nice sun dried tomato/pepper/cumin flavor (I added some salt). Even better with oyster crackers. I cooked it according to the package directions; kidneys and black beans very well rehydrated; some dark blue beans were slightly crunchy; The corn was chewy rather than

Better than canned, a bit bland but fixable!

I love roast beans but hate the metallic taste of canned roast beans (Instant Pot) I've used dehydrated, overcooked beans in the past with great success. I ordered this stamp because it was the smallest quantity I could find online, most of the deals were for the occasion. This bag of roasted beans is large and the cooking instructions are for the whole bag. Quickly calculated the ratio of beans to hot water to make just one cup of overcooked beans. The texture was perfect but the taste wasโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Almost OK
