I was very happy with the purchase. . The straws were exactly what I wanted. Seeing them with the naked eye was not a problem. This was the 2nd order, in other words I liked it.

Okay, I understand that plastic straws are bad for aquatic life. But I don't go to the beaches or boating, and any used straws go in the trash. I've tried paper straws and veggie straws which were awful on the lips and got wet. I keep using my plastic straws with rinse aid and get several days with one straw.

Look, the simple fact is that in an ideal world using plastic straws would not pose an environmental problem, but some people/circumstances still need to use plastic straws and access metal /Silicone will not work for one reason or another. In fact, I've been buying this brand for ages (I used to get them at my local grocery store for $1 a box) and I think I've had at most two or three fractures in the crook of my spine while using them. . These are good tubes for a plastic straw.
