Gould & Goodrich Shooter's Belt with Gold Line Review

Bought this to keep my guns stable while carrying (Glock 36 and Berreta Nano). Goes well with a Kydex holster. Not to mention carrying a gun, this belt is a gun. She is that fat. My waist is 34/36 so I'm a 38 and it fits like a 36 so definitely go 2 sizes bigger than you.

All I can say is that with both the IWB holster and the traditional forward tilt OWB holster, this belt will carry a full size 1911 with no play and help to conceal it completely. I use both holsters depending on the gear and this strap does exactly what it's supposed to do.

I have had several good belts but nothing comparable. My DeSantis belt works fine but sags a bit with a loaded Glock 30 in .45 acp. And my Ruger SR9C is loaded in exactly the same way with 17 rounds of 9mm. This belt is so thick that it will not move. I have a 33" waist and ordered a 36" belt. I got a 38" belt. It's good because it fits perfectly. So add two inches to your current sling size when ordering. Very happy with this purchase.

I just received this today. I measured my old belt from where the buckle attaches to the hole where I normally wear it. This is how most websites will show you how to measure a belt. Well, it fits, but in the last step. I'm planning on losing a few pounds anyway, but you can order a size up. The belt is very well made. VERY thick and durable. I mean it's probably 3/16 inch thick. This thing should last forever. The finish is very nice. The buckle is nice, not flashy but comfortable.

A good hard belt. The leather seems ok compared to my lovely dress belts and I'm not a fan of the brass buckle (which I replaced with a silver one) but it 100% does the job. Time will only tell the leather quality and durability. Also, it is NOT like the picture. In the picture, the end tapers, but it doesn't. It has the same width to the end and is simply rounded. However, I actually prefer that, so it was more of a pleasant surprise than a disappointment as it doesn't go with the picture.

I was looking for a thick leather belt for concealed carrying. I wanted a dedicated belt to wear the holster 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and then just slide it over my existing belt (which holds my pants). Holster the gun and go. This product does. ETA: Purchased: 19th November 2018 Looking for replacement 15.08.19. Didn't even last a year. This belt is thinner than previous models, which may have a reason. It was just a quick fix until I found another brand. The last strap I bought lasted just over a year before snapping along the hole I was using. Maybe they felt this model was too elaborate and made it crack. A few years ago I got myself a belt that I have not cracked to this day. Something happened to their quality, I don't know what.

The belt shown has a tapered tongue (the end that goes through the buckle). The included belt is the same width from tip to buckle. And the color is a little lighter than the Gould & Goodrich 803-195 Gold Line Three Slot Pancake Holster (Chestnut Brown) that I also ordered.
