    Fantastic little polishing pads

    Bought these for polishing windows during our camper van makeover. They work great and clean well. Used Griots garage glass polish.

    They work well but they don't last a few times even after manually cleaning the mat. I will use them as a hand applicator when they are old.

    These pads are on my random orbit sander along with Gordon.

    These pads on my random orbit sander, along with Gordon Glass Cerium Oxide, cleaned my gas fireplace glass which I have been trying to clean for over a year. The glass looks almost new and didn't last that long.

    Good felt pads for tools and equipment

    Used on marble. I have the Tenex powder that comes with the pads and they seem to work amazingly well together. As a test, I engraved a Carrera 6X6 marble tile and reworked it with excellent results. The felt pads are perfect for my dewalt drill and 5" velcro pad.

    Can only be used once

    This worked great for polishing glass with my random orbit sander at low speed. But then I decided to take it off the grinding wheel to clean it between uses. This is when the felt portion of the pad has separated from the Velcro that supports the pad. So my advice is to assume that once attached to the grinding wheel it will work great and then self-destruct when you remove it.

    Velor backed felt pads

    These pads work as advertised with the correct holder. Just make sure to center them well before using them. I bought these to use with cerium oxide on my windshield and they worked really well. I used a 1/2" right angle Millwaukee bit with a bit holder and the speed was spot on. You can use a regular corded drill (a cordless one will quickly run out), but the ergonomics aren't that great, and the weight of the Millwaukee drill helps, too.
