It's great in terminals

Very handy in the garage when you need to connect. Also ideal for use in place of a wire nut in tight spaces or when wire nuts keep coming loose. Great value for money for this great bundle of these connectors.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • faded

Poorly finished and packed in bulk

Bulk packaging and bad quality. This was disappointing as I preferred this particular product to several others that were similar because it seemed to come with an organizer for them. No bulk packaging. Also too weak to get a splice cord. Received return and different brand.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Not bad

Cheap, bad connection, just spend the extra money

Not worth the money. Luckily I ordered a few options so I'm not without, but if I used them in my car without testing them first it would be frustrating for me to fix the wiring harness. One cut the wire in half, the other made the connection unstable. The rest went in the garbage

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Exchange availability

Cheap and inefficient don't worry

It's junk and cheaply made. I saw other reviews on this but wanted to save some money and took a chance. It's not worth it at all. Maybe 1 out of 3 will work if used to bridge wires. This vulnerability frustrated me a lot during my project. I can't even justify paying for their return packaging as I'm nowhere near a Kohl's or Oops store so I just throw them away.

  • Nice to use

Poorly Done: Snap Plug

Following the gauge recommendations on this page, larger gauges have trouble fitting into the correct port. Using a 14 gauge blue wire connector, a metal welder will cut the wire in more than 50% of the connections. If you use these connectors, make a few test connections, then open the connectors again and check the wires. I hope you don't have my experience. I had to splice, solder and glue/set the pipes.

  • Dope 🔥
Cons

Cheap and difficult to use

Through wire is very difficult to insert as the elbow does not swivel so you have to wedge the clamp to get the wire into the groove. There were also issues with the metal blade having to cut into the insulation so the contact simply bent instead. Save yourself some headaches and find articulated ones (so they open easily for inserting a through-wire). It's not worth the few bucks saved on these cheap devices.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Made cheap. Difficult to use.

Firstly I have been involved in low voltage safety installations for over 30 years, have used similar connectors in the past and am a master electrician (low voltage). These connectors make it difficult to insert a "thru" wire into a PITA. . Also, the metal tongue that has to penetrate the insulation is so soft that it flexes without piercing the wires. Instead of struggling with a screwdriver to open the gap wide enough to slide the wire across the room, look for a swivel connector that will…

Get what you pay for.

Inexpensive, that's the point. I bought the 3M versions at 3x the price for a project where I couldn't have a connection failure. The 3M blue version allowed me to use it on 14ga copper strands, but with difficulty. I knew it would be tight but felt the 12ga version might not connect well with the smaller 18ga cable for landscape lighting. I managed to use it with some effort but it locked. These don't have this, the lid simply cracked. stop it, no big deal. I sealed the entire joint with…

Cons

Poor injection molding

These connectors are difficult to use due to their incorrect design. See the first photo of this product. You can see right through the end to be closed and the dead end just past the metal crimp. As you can see, it's not. There is also no separation between the first and second channels, creating the possibility of both wires crossing and not entering the slot in the stripper/connector, easily being crumpled or broken and not making an electrical connection. The wire tends to come straight out

Pros
  • Industrial Electrical
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
