Review on GPEH Solderless Through Splice Connector by Edward Henderson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Made cheap. Difficult to use.

Firstly I have been involved in low voltage safety installations for over 30 years, have used similar connectors in the past and am a master electrician (low voltage). These connectors make it difficult to insert a "thru" wire into a PITA. . Also, the metal tongue that has to penetrate the insulation is so soft that it flexes without piercing the wires. Instead of struggling with a screwdriver to open the gap wide enough to slide the wire across the room, look for a swivel connector that will allow you to open it up for a pass-through wire.
