It was great until it was. DANGEROUS!

We liked it very much, the easy change to the changing table was great for our room. After 2 weeks, the bottom of the cradle began to sag. It happened a little bit every day, so we didn't realize it until the situation got serious enough to be dangerous. The support for an already thin mattress is just a fabric that begins to stretch over time. Slowly noticed until our child was almost sideways at one point just off the page edge. OUTSIDE danger doesn't stay entirely level. We woke up with him…

Dangerous cradle: do not buy!

This bassinet is very dangerous and I would like to read the reviews on Revain better. As with some other reviewers, the "mattress" in this bassinet is very thin and will sag after just a few weeks, even if your baby is less than 15 pounds. I woke up this morning to the muffled sounds of my 11 week old baby but found his face pressed against the edge of the bassinet as he was unable to push off. Luckily he's fine, but it was awful and he won't sleep in this crib again. I'm shocked that Graco…

but like a carrier he liked it

my baby likes to sleep in it. I didn't put much on the floor and didn't use the changing table much, but I liked the cradle. Until I started bending over. After two months, my baby would slide to the right every time. I contacted Graco directly and they sent me a replacement under warranty but it touched it so much. I really liked the bassinet, just didn't need the versatility of a changing table and storage underneath. We carried her from room to room, with and without the child. She overslept

Do not buy for the vibrating version

Do not buy for the vibrating version. A low setting doesn't even affect the bassinet, while a high setting is loud and distracting, like a swarm of bees, and barely noticeable on the bassinet. He just vibrates his frame. Maybe it's just my grip strength, but it's not that easy to turn over with one hand while holding a baby. I prefer to walk through the house to his changing table. The trunk underneath is good. I also want it to vibrate or vibrate. I can rock it back and forth but the basket…

The best bassinet for baby and toddler beds

I don't know how I lived without it with my first child. There was a halo, and it was very bulky and difficult to move, so we gave it a try. We love it, as does our child. He has slept in it since we brought him home and has been sleeping through the night since he was 6 weeks old. Storage on the ground floor is excellent. It's a little flimsy, but not a problem if you use it as intended. I have wipes, a few extra diapers, a change of clothes and a diaper and it's holding up great. Also, it's…

Cannot be assembled*UPDATE*

Although we were so excited to assemble the bassinet, plans fell through when I couldn't fit the metal rods into the plastic on the bottom of the bassinet. At first I thought it was just me, but my husband tried and couldn't get the bars to engage. If you look at the photos, you'll notice that the inside of the plastic part where the rods are intended to insert has been damaged, causing the metal rod to "stick" to the excess plastic. We could probably use power tools to clean the plastic, but…

There are better options

This cradle is very practical as it has both a bed and a changing table. However, there are several glaring flaws. 1) Hood does not stay down. My son shows little to no interest in animals attached to him so I leave the canopy down. Since there's no way to hold it in place, it will bounce against things on the bottom shelf when flipped into changing table mode. 2) The bottom shelf is great for storage but is very thin. Everything kept falling. I fixed this by cutting the poster board to the…

Contains chemicals/flame retardants in mattress

Update: The company is adding chemicals/flame retardants (which are neurotoxins to babies) to this product. The pillow measures 16" x 28" and no non-toxic bassinet pad could be found that matches those measurements, also this product is generally exposed to flame retardants so there's no point in buying a green bassinet mattress when the rest of the Product also contains chemicals. - If your child's safety is your concern, skip the cradle (no luck finding a decent non-flame retardant one at a…
