The plastic block on the end of the lever (which pulls the lever away from the glass when going into the "park" position) was not quite right and did not allow the lever to fully park, which prevents the tailgate from opening. A few seconds on the sander and a few more with the heat gun fixed everything, but it shouldn't have taken that much effort.

The product came in two parts, arm bracket and wiper. They are very strong and of good quality. The fit was perfect except for one thing. The screw that attaches the lever to the car has gripping grooves. The brass washer in the replacement bracket was smooth so it has no grip. manufacturing defect? I do not know. So I had to use the standard bracket and attach the new wiper to it and I removed the new arm bracket.

As described - similar to Jeep - Tip (seen elsewhere, can't remember) - if the metal ring has snapped off your old one and gets stuck quickly, easy removal method: use a carefully rotating cutter, to ONLY go through most of the metal ring (being careful not to cut the shank) and then unscrew it with a screwdriver - don't try anything else. Removed old and reinstalled, less than 5 minutes. I hope this continues and I don't have to revise the review here.

It looks good, looks like the original but is made of thinner plastic and looks like its life expectancy is much lower than the overpriced original. Like most reviewers I had to use my dremel to cut the center piece off the car, the rust from the nut holding the original makes it very difficult to remove before you install the new one. You have to be very careful when cutting so you don't cut too deep into the shaft it's holding on to and you won't get a new one past the splines.

Googling for installation videos took longer than installation (five minutes)! Looks like OEM, works like new. When replacing the wiper, the original broke. I should have searched Google first. In any case, I have no idea what the savings are compared to visiting a service center at a local dealer, but if replacing one of the hood washer spray heads is any indication ($30 for a part from Revain, (took 10 minutes to install versus $125 for parts/labor to the dealer), saved me a ton of money, not

I don't know why some people complain that it doesn't fit. I had no problem installing it on my 2005 Grand Cherokee. However, it's important to note that the old lever left its stem on a bolt that I had to loosen with pliers and WD-40 to install the new lever. Maybe that's why some people had problems with landing. wiper works great and is so easy to install WHEN YOU HAVE REMOVED YOUR OLD ONE. The old wiper arm broke off leaving part of the body (nut) on the bolt that came out of the wiper motor. There is no video and no help. and the new lever didn't fit until I realized the old nut had to come off. Perhaps this is obvious to an experienced mechanic.
