I really like this idea. When they work, they work great! Unfortunately, one broke right away. That's right, if your dishes aren't completely dry, it won't work. They're easy to put on initially, but if they're used again to re-coat a dish that's been in the fridge, they won't work.

I rarely write reviews but I was tempted to write about this because it broke on first use. I would rather buy plastic/food wrap which works much better than such an expensive but poor quality product. It stretches, but you can tell it's going to snap in no time. So I tested it by putting it around a small bowl. Not only was he torn, but at first he didn't hold on. Absolute disappointment!

I bought a pair of these from a kitchen store a few years ago and quickly found that they did not work as pictured. Then why did I buy them again? While not suitable for bowls, they come in handy for other uses that don't require a tight clasp or can be secured with a rubber band. I use them, for example, to wrap cheese cubes or to cover the cut top of a cucumber. They are definitely winning the battle against plastic wrap and are easy to clean and reuse.
