Versatile and Durable Roaster!

After I put it to the test, I found this roaster can do it all - from roasting chicken to baking lasagna. The glass lid makes it easy to check on your masterpiece without disturbing the cooking process. However, the handle could have been more ergonomic for better grip.

Pros
  • Versatile cooking options, glass lid for easy monitoring
Cons
  • Handle could have been better designed

Misleading description

This pan is NOT 19 inches long. The useful part of the pot is only 16 inches long! If you add the 1/2 inch rim around the pot the length is 17 inches, if you add BOTH handles the length finally reaches 19.5 inches. I really expected it. Unfortunately I thought the inside length would be 19.5 inches since the product information section says "Product Dimensions: 21.2" x 14" x 8.5". So I assumed 21.2 inches included the grips. I'm stupid right? But where does the length of 21.2 inches come from…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • It's ok

Mine arrived with a chip on the surface exposing bare metal. I'm just sending it back and won't buy any more. I suspect the reason so many reviews mention chips in the fryer is probably due to the product's manufacturer's poor protective packaging combined with the way they can be handled and stacked in the warehouse. Either that or the manufacturer has really bad quality control. WMT has the next size up granite utensil caddy for about $12. I can get it, but it won't roast a 22-pound turkey. A

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

  • Not sure
