Outlet combines tamper and weather resistance; child safe tamper-resistant duplex receptacle increases safety by preventing unwanted objects from being inserted (complies with 2017 NEC Article 406.12); designed with corrosion-resistant parts for outdoor/weather resistance. Residential/commercial grade; replaces any 1-gang 20A wall outlet or receptacle; ideal for porches, patios, decks, garages, poolhouses, work sheds, or any other location that may be exposed to outdoor elements. Self-grounding for easy installation; shallow body design fits any wall box; dimensions: 4.06” height x 1.31” length x 1.08” depth; side wiring (#10-14 AWG copper only); installation instructions included. Heavy duty and works very well

I went with this to replace my old outside receptacle that had cracked. It was easy to put on and im sure it meets all weather
