I love using these to prep food for long freezes in Food Saver bags. I take a giant Costco roast, chop it up a bit, and cut the rest into stew-sized chunks. I cook the stews and put them in these containers. I do the same with ground beef and then put the containers in the freezer. I bought 24oz containers to use in my 6 Pack Fitness - Expedition 500 Backpack. They mostly fit - they are too big to fit in the individual compartments but you do can easily lift the bottom of the backpack.
