Great Software for Network Engineers

The most useful thing about grey matter was its ability to handle all our networking needs in one place without having different tools or software running at each site (ie Cisco IOS). There were many options available but they weren't very intuitive so it took some time before we started using them effectively! Also there are too much things you can do which makes finding what's best difficult sometimes - this could be improved by adding better explanations as well maybe? We used GM mainly…

Pros
  • The ability to have all our networking needs in one place (ie all our Cisco IOS and Cisco IOS software in one place)
Cons
  • Also it's pricing which can be very important when starting a networking solutions

Grey Matter - Very good tool with lots potential

We use grey matter to create custom API gateway functionality as well as other network monitoring functions via their REST API console. The team are always willing to assist us when we get stuck or need some guidance from them over email during our slack channel calls (which you have no choice but to take part in). I've found nothing negative regarding this product so far although it's very expensive compared to others currently offering similar products at much cheaper rates! Go check out how…

Pros
  • One cloud service is easier/ simpler then managing several services individually
  • It has features that make configuration simple including templates, automation scriptsand user interfaces.
  • Configuration parameters available within code examples provided by support staff help understand implementation with less coding required(useful documentation)
  • They're awesome guys who will provide immediate response & assistance even outside regular business hours
Cons
  • I don't really have any dislikes about this, everything is just fine

This solution has worked fine so far in my current organization as we are running 2 sites - one site being US only other having Europe clients where most data access will be done by UK or EU end user from local server via VPN tunnel to this Central point (US) which resides somewhere else within their network / datacenter environment than both client offices itself! If you don't want additional software required just go ahead if it really fits into budget but make sure its compatible before…

Pros
  • Ease Of Use; Easy To Understand And Simple Interface.
  • ) :)
  • Very Stable In Performance,
  • Robust Security Features Like LDAP Authentication , SSO etc., Which Makes Your Application Securely Connected All Across Networks Without Any Hassle Or Extra Cost.:)
