Apply with a red wax pad and a 6 inch orbital buff after buffing the clay. A really nice deep shine that is easy to apply and very easy to polish. I recommend using a red pad and first applying a reasonable amount to the pad and then using just a few strokes per 2 foot square section. And a little has really gone a long way. I'd say there are at least five waxes out of that bottle (on the Accord), maybe six.

Griot has been around for many years. I particularly like the tips and tricks they print in their catalogues, but with the internet ruining bathroom reading everywhere, it's hard to absorb the knowledge of these gurus. I've been using Griot products since the late 90's and still haven't found anything better. Tip: Finish off with 3M Perfect it Polish before finally opting for Best in Show Polish and you'll be rewarded with miles of deep shine, especially on dark and metallic colors. Enjoy!

Excellent wax. I used it on my orange Dodge Charger. I've always used Meguiars wax on my cars in the past and spotted this Griots wax in a parking lot one day so I decided to give it a try. much longer! I waxed my car about 3 months ago and wash it every week and I swear the water is still collecting in drips like the first day I waxed it! My only minor complaint is that the wax comes out of the bottle thick, making it difficult to apply to the machine.

I've been using it on all my cars for years; both for its ability to repel water and for its gorgeous appearance. It is very easy to put on and take off if you install it properly. The main thing is NOT TO USE TOO MUCH. If you apply it too thick, it will be painful to peel off. I'm using a Griot's Garage 6.5" Random Orbital Disc with red foam padding. Very smooth when hand polished and reminds me of Polyglycoat that car dealers used in the 70's and 80's before the manufacturers started using clear coats. I suspect this product uses much newer technology. When rubbed down it appears to be of good quality. The instructions say to wait 20-30 minutes after applying. but I'd say it's closer to an hour, at least with a garage temp of 65 degrees F or less. Bought this for my wife 2020 ct5 as I think the GM water based paint needs some help. and it is but after trying to put it on one half of the car we stopped and finished the car with mc guires premiun.
