I bought these to attach my phone to the treadmill to watch videos while I run. They work great. The phone never moves and has never been dropped no matter how much the treadmill wobbles. Eventually the one I was using got dirty so I rinsed it out and it was like new. I kept the clear plastic bags to store the pads when I'm not on the treadmill.

Bought a few for myself and for work. They're great for attaching the hub to your sitting/standing desk so the cables don't come loose when you get up. Also great for attaching USB hubs, portable drives and anything you don't want to move. Be careful when removing. Some units are not designed to carry loads in this direction and I removed the bottom of one unit. Luckily no damage was done, but that taught me to be careful.

I used it once and used it again the next day and after about 45 seconds my phone fell out of the sticky pad. I tried the second one, I thought maybe I didn't insert it correctly. It speaks very well the first time, but as soon as you take the phone off the sticky pad and try to put it on a second time, it stops working. It seems like a waste of time if you have to use a new one every time. nice concept but just doesn't work for me.

Although these pads will stick to hard surfaces, nothing will stick to it for more than a few minutes. I tried attaching the TV remote to the bookshelf and it fell off after about 10 minutes. I even tried using 2 pads even though my remote weighs next to nothing. I connected the clear to my phone in the car and my phone only lasted about 5 minutes. The only use I can think of as appropriate is on a flat surface to prevent anything from slipping. Certainly not worth the price.

I bought these to put my phone in the bathroom. They do their job effectively. Just make sure you press really hard or your phone won't get stuck or fall off. For this reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars for the suction power. My phone has been dropped twice (my phone doesn't have a case) but luckily it didn't have to fall far. I wasted my money on this. I first used it to mount my phone on the dashboard. You must be careful with your movements when you put it on the dashboard because if you don't get it right the first time, it will be difficult to remove, it will stretch and then stick to itself. If you set it up well enough, the phone will hold up great throughout the trip. But it is very difficult to remove the phone from the sticky pad.
