The thing works great! It fits my iPhone 8 with Otter Box case. My cell phone fits perfectly in the Ortlieb front pocket. Only suitable for round tube. Supplied with rubber spacers of various sizes to accommodate different bar diameters.

After looking for a bike mount for my phone I bought this because I needed something that wouldn't break in half on the first fall. It's VERY POWERFUL! The downsides are that the clamp that connects to the steering wheel is round while mine is tapered. Also the tool needed to clamp/unclamp the device is a special hex key with a hole in the middle. This is a quality product that is very easy to set up and use. I just installed it on my bike but am in the process of getting another one for my bike and quad. My iPhone connects and disconnects in two seconds. The only problem with this item is the safety feature, you need a special Allen key to attach it to the handlebar.
