I've seen bad reviews because you have to put it together. It's a shame we live in a time when this gets bad reviews. Since buyers use it to properly cut wood for assembling door frames, assembly is not a problem in my opinion. This is a great product that gets the job done at a reduced price and the quality of the parts is the same as other more expensive models. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced sled.

I tried to make some rails for the shaker doors with my hands and a router table but it didn't work. I knew I needed a sled like this for straight haircuts. I bought this and couldn't be happier. This is exactly what I needed, took less than 30 minutes to assemble and calibrate, and the cost is 1/3 the price of competitive models. tools from this manufacturer.

This item is very similar to the item offered by MLCS. However, without good photos and explanations. Second, it doesn't come with any pre-built post and rail mounts, which makes setting up 3/4 stuff a little faster. I would happily pay more for these improvements. This is one of the very few inexpensive woodworking items that is worth the money. It's easy to set up, accurate, and easy to use bit sets. A protective piece of wood on the jig prevents breakage at the drill exit. Very happy with the jig, just made about 300ft of rail and steel doors and made it a lot easier on my router table than just using a corner stop. I'm sure the competitor lights work just as well and are just as easy to set up, but at half the price you can't go wrong.

The box arrived with the worst smell of mold imaginable. The plastic handles, knobs and metal parts were in sealed plastic bags and were fine. Other plastic parts were wiped with Colrox wipes and the smell was gone. The basis is a plastic-coated fiber substrate. Good stencil. I probably should have made one, but I was too lazy. Assembly is pretty easy. Not difficult. The instructions are confusing, but you're unlikely to go wrong putting it together. I'm not keen on the toggle switch as it's adjustable and always seems to need adjustment. Not so hot what's up. The clamp has a large rubber end.
