Superb tailor's thread

Used to repair a leather jacket and the jacket looks like new again. The strength of the thread protects against future breakage. Love it.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Little things

Gutermann is the standard in carving

Used in some outdoor gear DIY projects, very strong and durable. I only had a few thread breaks when I ran the machine at full speed with overlock stitches, but that was easy to blame on the machine.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Very expensive
