Wanted to give 5 stars

Wanted to give 5 stars but I had to add extra support and drill 2 small screws on each side of the frame to be able to use it. I really didn't want to return with 4 very active grandchildren climbing everything. Note, however, that moldings may not match your opening.

great product The directions allow for a lot.

Great product. The directions leave a lot to be desired. The husband understood, but if the mechanical engineer is confused by the instructions, then the manufacturer should understand the hint and correct the situation. I noticed that other travel destinations are also mentioned in product reviews.

The best home gym!

The weather outside can be awful and my little monkeys can climb walls, but now I have peace of mind knowing they have a safe and fun "jungle gym" indoors. As a homeschooling family, it's easy to get salon fever when the weather is too inclement to go outside. We no longer complain about not being able to go outside and my kids have a great way to exercise their energy without jumping on my furniture or climbing anything they can climb.

Worth every penny - entertains the youth!

ELTERN - do it! Stop going to the site and looking at the pictures and going back and forth. It's worth every penny. Installation is easy (our door frame was a bit wider so we had to order an inexpensive extension piece) and it totally has the number of arguments our kids (7, 6 and almost 3) had when they were stuck indoors because of the cold weather changes . They like swings best, they are very durable and quiet. It seems a little crazy when you first put it on, you get nervous that it won't

Product may fall and injure a child

Last weekend we installed the Gym 1 playground and at first we thought it was a great product because our boys loved it. They could gain energy without going outside when it was very hot. However, when my son was swinging on the playground in Gym 1 less than 4 days later, she collapsed with him. It only weighs about 60 pounds, well under the weight limit, and we watched all the product installation videos. Luckily he's fine, but it was incredibly scary and could have been a lot worse. In fact, you need to understand the physics of the installation.

Okay, first of all I really like this product. However, there are some serious security issues. The way it attaches to the door frame really puts stress on the jamb and molding. Well, if you're in a typical home, the door frame is nailed at best and glued at worst. This means that when the vise clamps are tightened, the connection is simply removed. Hours of fun but rips the bar off the wall. I still want to love this product.

My experience is that when an adult uses attachments (Gym1 says they can hold up to 300 pounds) the fairing case comes off the wall after a few hours of use. I was probably rocking with the kids for a total of 1-2 hours in a few months when we attached it to our entryway panel and it separates. A typical crossbar for an average adult weighing about 200 pounds will not usually damage your fairing, but if the same adult leans off the frame you will quickly find the fairing detaching from the…
