It is normal for the money

Worked for about a week. I unplugged it from the select box and it put my car into emergency mode. I had to remove the lock to get my car out of limp mode.

Pros
  • Each acceleration mode has 9 levels (1-9) of fine-tuning function, the feeling of acceleration from weak to strong is very obvious and does not affect the throttle control ability.
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

When it works it's great, but put my car in emergency mode

Worked great for a couple of weeks then my car suddenly stalled on the Autobahn...2 hours grandma drove home and missed work...removed device and cleared codes and car is fine...don't know if that so is a defective device or the design itself is flawed ... too bad I will have to go back .... If customer service is not available.

Not suitable for 2017 BMW I3

I have a 2017 BMW I3 and it's connected to the gas pedal but it hasn't turned on and the high speed internal rheostat in the gas pedal has burned out. so I have to spend $80 plus shipping on rockauto.com to get a replacement accelerator pedal. Even with all the problems I had, I would have bought another one if I knew it would work and the accelerator pedal rheostat wouldn't blow again.

Great upgrade for MINI

Excellent product. ECO mode is perfect for making the pedal less sensitive and for great coasting and riding in the cold. Jump to P3.5/P3.9 and you almost never have to hit the gas to move forward. I recommend to anyone who wants the gas pedal not to have a universal profile. The installation wasn't exactly perfect as I had to cut off part of the connector to fit the throttle body connector on my '08 Mini. (p. 52). no sweat just a pair of pliers, carefully ripped off a piece of plastic, andโ€ฆ
