Hamburger Press Freezer Containers Convenience Review

Individual containers do not seal tightly - lids open with very little force which makes me question their value for freezing patties. Also very low capacity. I chose 1/4 pound burgers because they are so small.

I needed to replace a set of Tupperware I bought in the 1960's. It's been like this for years. This replacement cannot be compared to my previous set. The plastic is very thin and brittle. I don't think they will last a year without cracking. It was a disappointing purchase.

When I was married I had a nice set of Tupperware and wanted to replace it. It's not even close to a Tupperware set. Very thin, like disposable vacuum containers. Don't waste money. I estimate it at around 50 cents. Besides, who wants a burger with a ridge around it. Very disappointed.

I bought these because I was tired of being told my hamburgers weren't big enough. I wasn't sure if they would help but they did. I can prepare them the same day I buy the meat and freeze them for later use. They are perfectly round and can be as big as I want.

Perfect in every way. That says it all. I use this to make sprouted brown rice patties. Or any sticky rice. This presses the rice firmly into a perfect round cake that won't fall apart like a burger when fried. Garnish with roasted vegetables and drizzle with Asian sauce. WA-LA! I was so happy to find this little gadget. And the ability to cook, roast and store 4 pieces at once makes it even better. 🥰

This patty maker worked well for hamburger patties and corned beef, but the storage bin gaskets didn't seal well, especially when used in the freezer. Also, the containers themselves were quite ribbed, making getting the cakes a chore. Luckily for me they were cheap and I threw away the containers except for one which I use to form pies which I keep in freezer bags. .

Exactly as pictured. We've had the set for over fifteen years and it's still great. We bought this new set for our other house. Transforms turkey, beef and co. into the perfect burger. You can make thick or thin burgers. hard press. You don't have to take out the meat if you don't use it right away, they each have lids, you can stack the burgers on top of each other and put a lid on top. I highly recommend this product.

There used to be a set of Tupperware. We love Bubba burgers but due to COVID we couldn't get them. Decided to see if I could find a hamburger maker. Was glad to find this set. They only come with storage bins for a few, but I've made many. I lined a large baking sheet with parchment paper, placed the hamburgers on top and placed in the freezer. Once they were frozen I kept them in ziploc bags with a small piece of parchment paper in between and they didn't stick together.
