Good size, not too big and not small. The stick bridge dangles, nothing has to be screwed in, but that's completely normal, it sits perfectly on the platform as it is.

I bought this to upgrade my mouse to a smaller one. He loves it so much and it helps him get the workout he needs. Also, it seems really safe. It's durable and really easy to clean. It picks up little to no odor so I don't have to replace it too quickly unlike most mouse furniture.

So our favorite mouse LOVES it. And he loves to chew on it, which makes me feel better knowing it's made from non-toxic wood for house mice and house rats. We put this in his playpen along with other toys and he is as happy as a great product can be. I wish it was more convenient to store (a walking stick with a storage bag or something)

Very cute and my hamster loves it! It's a little annoying to put together, but it makes them happy and less stressful, so I didn't mind. Tip: you buy these yourself, start with the smallest needle and work your way up to the largest, if you try to twist them haphazardly some won't fit and you'll have to take them off and put them back on.

One of the coolest hamster toys I've ever bought. I have a Syrian hamster who loves climbing up and down steps of different sizes. She also uses it as a perch while watching people and dogs walk past her cage. It was easy to assemble. It was just a matter of screwing each piece into the appropriate holes. I actually bought one from another seller but it was a lot smaller (5x5 for example). This platform was really well built and seemed very solid, but for two bucks I was able to buy this one that had significantly more room. The flexible bridge from both sellers was pretty much useless as I couldn't move it without breaking it. It's not as good as the first one I bought.
