These platforms are great for my wire cage and give extra space. My Syrian hamster fits perfectly. One is a little cracked but can be sanded.

I wish they would do a little less. Even in my large Prevue cage they take up too much space to use as a ladder etc. They are not good for sitting, but not suitable for climbing alone due to their unwieldy size. However, they are well made.

Screws break easily from wood. There is only one round washer, not enough to fix the platform to the cage well. The best products come with 2 washers per bolt. The round washer is too small for the distance between the bars in the chinchilla cage. Maybe it works for small cells.

So one of the ledge hanger bolts was not secured and ended up coming out of the ledge. I had to glue it back to be able to use it. Pretty disappointed about that. I also didn't like that it came with very small pucks which meant I had to spend more money to get the right size pucks so I could hang them on the cages.

The only complaint about this product is that they should have included an extra set of washers. If the distance between the horizontal bars is greater than the platform, it will not be properly secured and the platform will wobble. Adding a second set of shims will solve most issues when the distance between the bars is greater than the platform.

Washers not wide enough for cage I have chinchillas. Would be great if they were bigger and had two instead of one small washer per bolt. Firewood slips out of the gratings. UPDATE: I'm disappointed as they can't handle the high activity level of my chinchillas. They don't stay in place even with the adjustments made. I would not buy again.

We are very disappointed with this purchase. Out of the 4 protrusions, only one could be attached to the cage. The other 3 only had one screw because the second one wasn't screwed all the way in. Looks like whoever made them drilled holes that were too big and then put a screw in. Without some kind of handle it was impossible to attach them. You can't attach a sturdy chinchilla tab with a single screw. I do NOT recommend these!
