Great Beginner Blender

Like: Good size. We don't have a lot of storage space. It's a good size and weight so it's not too cumbersome to pull it out of the pantry when I need it. Enough power for the size of the bowl. I have prepared different types of dough for bread and pizza. Some recipes have been duplicated. I haven't had any issues with the lack of performance. It's a real workhorse for the price. It has more power than the expensive, entry-level KitchenAid stand mixer. Nozzles are easy to replace and clean. I…

Mixed feelings about this mixer

Was hoping it would be an inexpensive alternative to the trendy KitchenAid mixer. It's a solid machine, although it looks like the sewing machine on your counter and the motor seems to struggle at times (on heavy, sticky dough). The panels are easy to remove and clean. But after more than a year of use, here are my "cons" for your consideration: If you're used to a traditional wide-bowl blender and like to dip and beat a spatula in the bowl while blending, the steep and narrow bowl is steep is…

So far, so good. best of blenders

This is the third blender I've bought from Revain. The first, a Bodum blender, worked great until it broke a few months later. The second, the two-racer Sunbeam Heritage model, survived, but as much as I wanted to love it, I found it just didn't mix well and I had to move and fiddle with the bowl by hand all the time. Going back to an old hand mixer, I knew it was time to replace the Sunbeam. Today I spent the day testing Hamilton Beach. I first kneaded a fairly stiff bread dough containing 5…

Powerful blender like KitchenAid for basic blending tasks

I don't like thinking about things until we've had enough. We bought this as a gift mid 2019 which ended up being duplicated. We already have KitchenAid so I kept it thinking it would make a good Christmas present but after a few weeks I got curious and opened it up. The KitchenAid is a fantastic stand mixer but after using it I tell people that if you need a KitchenAid you already know about it and if you don't know you need it I would buy one of these. . First, it's smaller, easier to pack…

Surprised! Has completely exceeded my expectations.

I'm taking a baking class and I quickly realized that if I really want to learn something I have to practice at home, and for that I need a "planet" mixer. In the classroom, our mixers are sufficient Industrial-grade KitchenAid on the Volrath and Hobart, with the latter two being machines that do complex, high-end cookie and bread testing tasks. It was an introductory lesson and we did a bit of everything, but what interested me the most was bread. Because I take learning to bake very…

Great for making bread

I have waited to write a review until I have used this blender for several months. After six months of use and baking bread weekly, I give it a thumbs up. I bought this and only use it for baking French style baguettes. When I bought it it wasn't clear from previous reviews how well it works for baking bread. My regular recipe calls for three baguettes and uses 510 grams of bread flour. This blender has no problem with this quantity. He could obviously do more if I needed it. It works great and
