It's great! Use directly. I bought a used BMW 750 and it was the door area that needed attention! I figured I'd have to go to eBay and find a whole door piece! Fits perfectly.

This product fits my 2011 BMW750 perfectly and looks fantastic! I complained that the rubber on the handle "melted" over time. This is the first product I've seen to solve this problem. I would pay triple for this as I want my car to be the best it can be! Even the smooth texture is the same as the original!

I was reluctant to order the cap as it was quite cheap. However, you won't even notice it's installed when you look at the doorknob. It was easy to install (took about 1-2 minutes) and covered that factory defect. Now I can use the doorknob without getting my hands and inside dirty with sticky black stuff.

It's great! I work professionally at BMW and have bought 3 sets for resale. They fit perfectly, completely eliminating the main problem with these cars and they look and feel great. I've seen several reviews claiming that the inserts don't fit perfectly. I've experienced what they're talking about, but it only happened because I didn't have it fully. If they don't fit, remove them from the bottom and pull them down towards the handle, they will snap into place.

They really fit perfectly. You may see other reviews mentioning that one of the edges is misaligned. At first it's true. from the top and tighten it slightly, then you have to pull it towards you from the bottom (under the handle) and then you have a perfect fit. I can't believe they actually work and look exactly like the factory ones. Would buy from this company again anytime. These panels are very smooth and well built. most impressive.

This is a great idea at a very affordable price. Everyone I know who has a 7 Series has had an issue with a door handle falling apart and getting sticky - BMW should have fixed that. But. Something is missing from these missions. The fit is about 8/10. They go in very easily, but then slip a little - not much, just enough to be a nuisance. I think I'll take mine out and put double sided tape or maybe some thick glue on the back before reinstalling them to see if that makes them more durable.
