Great for soldering and pickling for soldering and pickling. Protects parts up to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit. Begins to melt and dissolve oxides at 600 degrees Fahrenheit. Can be cleaned up with hot water.
Based on my experience, I would suggest looking elsewhere for a flux brush. This product was a complete disappointment. The bristles were flimsy and barely held any flux .The brush handle was also uncomfortable to hold during use. Even though it’s listed under Industrial and Scientific, it definitely doesn't live up to the standard. The only pro is that it is affordable, but the cons outweigh that perk. Don’t waste your money on this useless brush..
Pros
The Handy Flux Ounce Jar Brush makes it easy to apply flux to small or hard-to-reach areas.
Cons
The brush may become clogged or dry out over time, making it difficult to use and requiring frequent cleaning or replacement.
This flux is great for soldering, but I prefer black flux because you don't have to constantly clean the product after soldering. Although this stuff works great!
