These cotton shorts are made from the same material as Hanes tank tops. They are light, breathable and very comfortable. They remind me of underwear, but longer, looser, with pockets and drawstrings. My only complaint is that the drawstring is too long and made of the same material as the shorts so it looks like it will break when tightened. The waist is stretchy and holds the shorts on me very well so there really is no need for a drawstring.
