📚 Haotian KMB19-W: Ultimate White Kids Bookcase and Storage Display for Organizing Books and Toys Review

This shelf is very poorly made. Its construction is flimsy and you can hardly touch it because the white paint is peeling off. We bought this for our little one but are afraid to put it in his room if he climbs on it or just smacks it and breaks it.

If you're crafty or can help, it's easy. We have reinforced it with wood glue and this is a quality shelf. I don't recommend assembling it yourself. It took my husband 20 minutes and he is a handyman. Overall I would buy again!

I like it! It fits perfectly in my children's room. It has so much space for books and cute decoration. The only thing is that the two tabs (bottom and top) are not attached so you can take it off the shelf. I see my child pulling up to get up and it could throw up. I suppose you could hammer in some small white wooden nails to secure it.

You definitely need two people, the whole piece has to be miraculously assembled at the same time to lock the cam locks. There are many cam locks which makes me doubt the durability of this item. Easy to assemble, looks good and holds lots of books. The only drawback for me was the depth of the bag. I wanted a bookshelf where the books could be seen, the pockets are too deep if I just put the books down as many of the books wouldn't be visible. I put the styrofoam strips that came in the package inside the pockets so they aren't as deep. That's the only reason why there are so many books. It was a quick decision. Over time I will replace the foam with wood.

This bookcase is exactly what you'd expect for the price: decent but far from perfect. The frame pieces don't line up exactly (there's space between them), it's a pressed board and we had the stylus all the way through a board (thankfully it was covered by one of the display layers), but honestly I think my expectations were too high were. Great shelf for the price! Although there were a few disappointments. Assembly was a bit of a nightmare and I think it would have been a lot easier if they used a solid piece of wood for the back instead of thin skin. The book pockets are much deeper than I thought.
