My dog only goes out in the rain when he has a raincoat on and the one he had was starting to fall apart so I had to find a new one. Found this and couldn't be happier. The hood fits over the head so it stays in place which is great and the quality is top notch. Really thick and durable. My dog is 75 pounds and this fits him perfectly.

This raincoat is fantastic. Not only did my pup look great like Georgie did with my Pennywise, but now she looks great when it's raining. My dog is a 55 pound German Shepherd mix and I ordered a large one. It fit her well in length and chest strap. I was nervous that the head hole would be too small - it seemed really tiny - but she still has a thin neck and fits perfectly. She doesn't usually allow anything to wear (clothes or hats), but for some reason she's quite happy with this coat.

It might have worked better on a different breed of dog. I have a standard poodle that weighs 45 pounds. The big one was too big. Wednesday was too small. In both sizes it wasn't high enough at the neck to work the leash hole. The hood was short and below the ears, so it was more about looks than functionality. Great raincoat for your pup. One of my dogs loves it and I love it when she doesn't come home soaked after a walk in the rain. Although she didn't mind wearing sweaters and shirts, my other dog didn't like the coat at all.
