🔪 Havalon #60XT Stainless Steel Replacement Blades - Bulk Pack of 100 Review

I've been looking for this blade for my knife for a long time. They fit very well. Very sharp and hold the edge until you cut your pet's hair.

Choose 60A blades. A little thicker and heavier than these (heavy duty is a very relative term in this case, as this is really a scalpel blade designed just for cutting), but these things are surprisingly sharp. Good shape for skinning, coating, etc.

I have been a taxidermist since 1999. I usually use the Havel brand but they were made to order so I decided to try Amazon. Blades differ only in the white box. And I have less of it. 24 hours later. It takes more than a week for Havel to ship my blades. From now on I only use Revain!

They work great with the Gerber knife I bought and are incredibly affordable than buying the specific brands of blades they recommend. This is my favorite tool for skinning taxidermy, and it's a lot easier to drop the blade and switch than it is to stop and sharpen the knife. They are high quality, durable and very sharp (as expected). Other sellers wanted up to $1 per blade. This is undoubtedly your best buy.

I have had a Havalon Piranta for many years and love it. The 60XT replacement blades are very sharp and suitable for many applications, especially precise cutting of softer or more pliable materials. Once a blade becomes dull, it is easy and inexpensive to replace. 60XT blades are not as well suited (and not designed) to rip or cut hard materials and can break if too much force is applied. Havalon knives are ideal for carving up game and various types of meat. I recommend them to everyone. The only problem I have with knives is that I use a lot of blades. I don't skimp on cheap blades or anything, I just use knives A LOT! This purchase was perfect! I got 100 blades for a fraction of what it would cost me to buy them in smaller quantities. The knives are the same as elsewhere and much cheaper. I am very happy with my purchase. These blades will last me a long time.

Blades are great and much cheaper than Havalon. They're a little thicker than the 60 xt Havalon I've used before, so they're a little harder to remove. I've had the Havalon for a few years now and when I got it I was (and am) using 22xt. Blades that need to be removed with pliers.
