My waist is 35 inches and the skirt fits very comfortably and the waistband stretches about 1 inch. I ordered a size larger than the length as my butt makes the skirts ride up the back. I wore this for my school memes in October when I was the alien girl you escaped from area 51. My only criticism of the skirt was that it was very thin. Luckily it doesn't show through, but it will look weird until I remove the creases. I added a petticoat underneath me and it helped how it sat on my body!
