Big part; Difficult to install

Exact replacement for mine which no longer works. Installation was very difficult and required special tools. However, I saved a lot of money by replacing it myself instead of having the Ford dealer replace it for me.

NOT to fit Ford Flex Limited 2011

Revain said to fit 2011 Ford Flex Limited. It is not. I was able to mount it by tightening the screws, but the power harness is all wrong. Not the same size, different configuration of contacts. Completely unsuitable for this car. I checked the driver's side and the glove box. No work.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Nothing

Exactly what I needed and works perfectly

Easy to install, just difficult to reach in the dashboard. The part fit my 2015 Explorer exactly. This controls where the air goes, defrosts the front vents and the floor. Be sure to disconnect the positive cable from the battery before reconnecting the wire harness to the new module. Otherwise you will get a wrench error on the dashboard. It's a good idea to clean the throttle body.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Some small things

But the part worked. Not worth bringing it back and me.

Bought because I had trouble reading the Ford parts diagram. I can't tell what part I need for the faucet door damper. Ford Explorer 2013. This part is NOT required for the servos behind the passenger glove box. But the details fit. It's not worth sending back and I saved around €500 on the repair.

Part description incorrect

Ordered this part as stated mixed door motor. This is not the hood door motor I needed. This is the mode door motor. Now I see they added floor, defrost, ventilation to the description. The faucet door regulates the temperature, the mode door determines where the air exits the dashboard, there's a big difference. I think I have a spare door motor. No problem with the piece as presented.

  • Decent performance

Stuck Heat on 04 Freestar / Monterey

Stuck Heat on 04 Freestar / Monterey. To see which mixer damper has failed, if you have digital HVAC control, hold and defrost, then press AUTO. Mine said 22 66, that's the left door. There are two left doors so I just replaced both of them. Needs an 8mm output and some acrobatics but now my heat is working! Revain says it doesn't fit my car, but it doesn't. I used a 9 volt battery and two outside pins to match the dead exactly. Remote control.

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Mostly Good But...

Repaired my 2006 F150 Lariat 5.4 truck, it only had cold air with no heater

As stated in other reviews there are a few other units and this one did not fit my truck. The cog on my old factory part was about an inch longer than the one I received so the cog didn't reach the box. This was the only difference between the two parts. I disassembled my non-working assembly, inspected the shaft and gear for wear. Then I very carefully disassembled the old and new part of the drive, fitted a longer shaft/gearbox and reassembled the assembly. The transmission is now lowered and
