Fits my PS5 perfectly. I just installed it in less than ten minutes. I used this heatsink with a 1TB WD BLACK SN850 SSD. Fits perfectly in the PS5. So far so good on a Beta PS5 system with this heatsink and SSD! I can only recommend this spotlight!

Such a great idea well implemented. After cleaning and sticking the thermal pads on your m.2 ssd, screw in all 6 mounting screws, after screwing in all 6 screws, press both halves of the heatsink together and tighten the screws one by one as close as possible to the screw, as far as possible. It's also nice that they thought of providing a few extra screws in case you drop or otherwise lose one. I really like the packaging. Includes a screwdriver, wet and dry cleaning wipes, and hot melt strips for both sides of the m.2 drive. Full disclosure I didn't use hot melt glue, I used thermal paste. This is because I was worried about the gap between the m.2 drive and the PCI card I installed it on and the hot melt adhesive is a bit thick. I would give this product 6 stars if such an option existed. Firstly, in terms of functionality, my 970 evo plus got very hot in my sff build, reaching 56C when idling. Now the idle temp is 37 degrees, and when transferring a 300 gigabyte library, the steam only reaches 57 degrees. The silicone pads included in the kit do not make good contact with my my my 970 pro 1tb. I had a high fever but I wasn't sure if it was normal. Apparently the density of the included silicone thermal pads is too high to fit the uneven surface and I could see outlines where they actually touched that were almost non-existent. I replaced the pads with the ones left over from the graphics card mod. They are slightly spongy and come in two thicknesses. I cut out a few of these to give them the…

I wasn't expecting much. I didn't even think I needed it. I bought two. I bought it for 2 reasons: 1, I bought a new m.2 that didn't fit my case or other drive; 2, I've seen many motherboards have a heatsink for them.
