Great collars! - my new review

Loved these collars! One was a little tight on one of my dogs but he gained a little weight, which we are working on, but they look great on them and are so functional! My 9 year old can now assist me when people come to the door, he is able to grab hold easily and quickly. And the dogs respond very well to the collars! Will purchase again if we need to. We bought them in size large.

  • The handle may not be sturdy enough for large, strong dogs

Do not buy! good for me

I purchased this dog collar exactly one month ago, and this is how it looks today. This is poor quality stitching and metal, it is not worth the price. I purchased the exact fit for my dog. He is not a big dog or an aggressive one this is just terribly made. I had him tied on his lead in the backyard for no longer then 5 min and found him at my door scratching at it when the collar broke. Thank god he didn’t take off or something worse happening. Save your money go elsewhere.

  • Stitching frayed a little quick but overall it holds up to my German Shepard

  • Had it for 2-months and the stitching is coming apart.

Difficult to put on and remove

Not like the previous one I had. This new one is a pain to put on and remove, velcro fasteners all along the inside of the collar. The old model had a clasp, push on, depress to remove. So simple. This one is not an improvement! And there is no grommet to attach a license. You have to attach the license somehow to the l3ash attachment plate. Lousy design, am returning it.

  • The width of the collar may not be suitable for dogs with thicker necks

Medium size too large for Basenji breed

The medium was larger than expected, so I had to return it.Not a fit for Basenji or other sh-medium (small-medium) dogs breeds.The width of the collar was also a little too thick. The 1.5inch width might be good for XL size collars, but not for medium size. The proportions are strange.Well constructed from quality materials.

I do like the lock and the Velcro double secured around his

bought this for my pitbul who has to be on a tie out due to fence jumping the metal clip broke after 3 months. Really thought this one would work since he goes through collars a lot. I do like the lock and the Velcro double secured around his neck

Will buy again on my review.

These are nice high quality collars. The only complaints I have is that the edges fray after a week (still work great just doesn't look as nice). The materials are heavy duty and the powder coating is a great touch. There are so many total junk collars on the market, but these are not that way. My heavy pit and choc lab both wear them and I'm very happy.
