Exactly what I wanted

This is exactly what I wanted. The problem with pre-wired outlets is that they use too little GA wire. If I put a relay on 30 amps, the 18 or 20 GA wire is useless. This allows me to run 12GA wire to and from the relay. Be sure to buy connectors.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Doubtful

Good product, good price

Good product, good price, excellent service. But I've spent a lot of time looking for nifty little wire terminals that do NOT come with that "micro" relay socket. Finally found terminals in Cycleterminal dotcom. But I would happily pay more for a full customization. I bought 2 of these and they match perfectly. I liked the fact that I can plug in and mount the socket base and the relay is easy to plug in. More professional (e.g. car manufacturer). For my application, this was better than a…

Cheap plastic block; no clamps or wiring harness

This is a cheap plastic block with no clamps and costs about 29 cents. It appears to be designed for use with non-standard clamps that have a locking tab on one side and will not work with regular quick connectors. Terminal Connect ("Faston"). I bought this to use the relay for a custom modification, not as a spare. The Hella Companion Relay H41524021 has two 0.25" quick connect cables and three 0.187" quick connect cables that I built myself using crimped quick connect connectors. The relay…

Cheap plastic block; no terminals or wires

This is a cheap plastic block with no terminals and costs about 29 cents. does not work with normal Quick-Connect ("Faston") terminals. I bought it to use the relay for custom modifications, not as a spare. The H41524021 companion relay from Hella has two 0.25" and three 0.187" quick connect cables. Quick connect, I built my own wire harness using quick connect crimp terminals. The relay has absolutely no mounting options. I secured it with double mounting tape as the block was useless without…

Compatible Connector Plugs Part Numbers

Like everyone else, a bit surprised that the clamps weren't included, but it's not in the Hella catalogue. Came in a traditional yellow Hella box and was even marked as made in the USA which was a pleasant surprise considering how much of their stuff is made in China and India these days. Just a note for future buyers: Hella is not for sale. less than 100 terminals each, but in fact they are just licensed copies of AMP/Tyco/TE Connectivity FASTIN-FASTON terminals. You can get the following part
