I bought this mat so I could exercise in my condo (second home), where the only place with enough room is the living room.This mat is an inch thick, which makes it especially comfortable for prone, sitting or kneeling exercises. But it’s a bit thick to stand on, and makes me feel a bit unstable doing lunges and squats.Not a big deal - I’d just do standing work off the mat. But it’s also being used to protect the very nice rug underneath. I’m swapping it fro the thinner mat I have at home.Also…

Had to replace an older mat, which I liked. When it wasn't available, I got this one. Great replacement. The mat may not provide enough cushioning during high-impact exercises!

If you are overweight and trying to get back into shape I really appreciate this mat. It’s think enough you can lay on the floor with a minimum of pain. It’s dense enough you can stand on it but not dense enough to balance on one leg.

If you need extra cushion and comfort, this is your mat. The gym in my building has concrete floors that are covered with a thin carpet. A regular yoga mat is still too thin but this mat will do the trick! On the flip side, this mat is very thick, so it rolls up big and the carry strap is not very good at all. Overall, good value for the money.

I can't believe how soft, thick and beautiful It is. the mat came out to be more than comfortable than expected and it was the first mat in my life that I've purchased though I had a mat as a gift but it hurts my knee because it was thin but I'm finally happy and this mat motivates me to do my workout.

Very convenient, rolls and unrolls very easily, handles are the convenient part. Very soft and doesn’t slip when being used

Guess which one that makes me? I’m new to it all but this sure beats being on the floor. I look forward to bending in ways an old man shouldn’t and this helps my feet and hips along with good grip when I’m hitting my next pose. Do I look good doing it? Nope. Dies this mat work? Oh my GOD finally a good exercise mat! I've been using the BalanceFrom Go Yoga All Purpose Anti-Tear Exercise Yoga Mat with Carrying Strap, Blue for awhile now and I absolutely HATE it. Everything about the HemingWeigh is superior. As you can see in the attached pictures, the HemingWeigh exercise mat is TRULY extra thick, especially compared to the BalanceFrom mat that is supposedly "extra thick high density."I did my forward lunge stretches on both mats and you can see in the picture…

This nice thick mat provides excellent protection for your back, knees, hips, …. all of it! I use this over a cold hard tile floor and it’s like I’m on my own island of cushiony bliss. Since I use it everyday I rarely actually roll it up and use the strap provided, but it it easily rolls up and slips back onto the carry strap.Love. It. Get. It. Thank me later. Byeeeeeee!

When I read "extra thick foam" I felt that this would be a great replacement for my worn exercise mat. Last fall I started working out again and really wore down the mat I had.Then I transitioned to running in January and trained for a 5k, 10k, and finally a half marathon. During this time my kids used my mat as a bed roll when doing sleep overs. Apparently they thought it would be a good idea to tears bits and pieces off because my old, worn mat was also quite holey when I took it down

So far, this is an excellent product. I don't understand why "easy to fold" was added as a rating feature since the foam pad can easily be rolled up.but not folded. Also, I've only had the pad for a couple weeks so the jury is still out on durability, but I'm not anticipating any problems.
