Useless Clamps, Waste of Money

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can safely say these clamps are not sturdy and lack the hold needed for precise woodworking. Their simple design is more of a hindrance than a benefit.

Will not replace traditional clamps

I make small wooden boxes that fit over a box of tissues. I recycle scrap: maple and cherry from cabinet panels; poplar and alder from cabinets; and oak parquet. There is a lot of renovation work going on in our area, so wood is always available. After they're sanded smooth and varnished, they look quite nice. I don't sell them, I just give them to my friends. Corner Mate clamps were advertised on Facebook, suggesting they were strong enough to be glued. I just bought two sets. They are not…

Great corner clip for the money.

I bought these as a gift for a friend who works a lot with wood. It's great for holding thin boards while drilling or fastening.
