Not a big fan. I would order another set.

My set (not sure if it's every set or just running) is a hair bigger than it should be. It was assumed that it was about the finishing of collets. This means they won't fall out properly and won't be held properly when you try to tighten one of them. They looked well made and hardened, but the wrong size issue meant I wasn't able to properly lock the end mill in many cases. . For example, I usually use a half-inch end mill from JYC International. They are cheap and available through Prime. It…

These collets have no more than 1" threads on the end so unless you have a short drawbar or don't switch to fully threaded as an adjustable alternative you will damage the drawbar when tightening. The drawbars are luckily cheap and easy to replace, but if you try to tighten the chuck, the threads will snap before the cutter is properly tightened and jam until the cutter is seated and you're pulling the drawbar threads through the unthreaded portion of the collet, breaking.
