Everything was perfect for this money. I've been using it for a few years now and it's always robust and accurate. I love it and recommend it without hesitation.

Insufficiently machined cone on the mating surface so it wouldn't be attracted to my D1-4 machine. Unfortunately I was pressed for time and had to use it or I would have sent it back. I took the time to put some gasket material between it and the D1-4 mount and it works properly. The adjusted length of the camlock lugs was also incorrect, but that was easily fixed. Better buy!

I bought this chuck because I needed to hold a 1" round shank in an ER40 collet for some production work. I work on an EMCO-MAIER 10 lathe, which is an Austrian precision machine with tight tolerances, but my Austrian collets are ER25 and don't go to 1 inch. I was pleased with the finish and finish of the chuck and it fitted my D1-4 spindle really easily.
