I have a 1950's dresser that is difficult for my 4 year old to open and close. They worked way better than I ever expected! I was willing to swap out the dresser, but this made me change my mind. The first pair I got was hard to get apart but I just kept pulling until they came apart.

Instructions are not clear, it says to separate the two parts so they can be attached to the dresser and drawer but the parts cannot be taken apart! In addition, the slide does not extend all the way, so the 14-inch drawer does not extend more than a few centimeters. Totally useless when you come back.

I bought the Hickory Hardware P1029/14-2C 14" Center Drawer Rail, Cadmium because I was building a narrow (12") cabinet and didn't want to lose the width that would be lost by hanging the drawer rails full. They were easy to install and work well. The only disappointment is that they only open halfway.

The fragile drawer slide that came with the baby dresser broke so I decided to try one of those to fix it. The dresser itself is fairly cheaply made and the drawer runners keep coming loose but we try to make sure it lasts as this is a children's dresser these days. This drawer was easy to install and works well. Consider going ahead and removing the other five weak drawer slides and replacing them with these so the other drawers don't fail again.

I had to make small adjustments here or there, but I did it myself with no help. Installation is that easy.

Bought the dresser on a social media marketplace, got it very cheap as he needed some new rails. These rails were almost identical to the ones they replaced, just had to move the screws a bit because the holes in them didn't quite line up with the existing holes in the drawer. They appear to be quite durable and are very easy to install. They downgraded one star because the description doesn't indicate that they don't come with screws and most other slides I've bought do come with screws.
