After reading comments about the hose being too small and not suitable for an air pump I added 1 small drop of vegetable oil to the hose and had no problem installing the hose . to the air pump. I was going to buy a standard tube and it is the same size as the one they send you. The magazine tube is slightly stiffer and the included tube is soft and flexible. But I managed to turn it on. Hope this helps someone.

This pump is expensive, seems reliable and pumps more than enough air, but unfortunately it is a bit noisy, especially when the control knob is turned all the way. Way to max. I originally used it in my living room with a small hydroponic plant on my windowsill, but ended up moving it to my grow tent due to the noise. The pump works perfectly, looks solid and is quite well made for the price. A little plastic but about what I expected.

I need it urgently. I was working on my pond and needed fish in two buckets with lids to avoid accidentally breaking through the fish. I needed air in them so I ordered this little pump. That works great! I could hook it up in the guest bathroom (fairly quiet since my aquarium 30 years ago), split the hose and put one in each bucket, and then adjust the power to suit the needs of the fish. Not too much, not too little. Great product and not a lot of money. I would definitely recommend it!

Before buying this pump I read in another review that to avoid noise you should buy one that is rated and adjustable for a much larger reservoir. That's both. Its rated capacity is up to 100 gallons and I use it on a 40 gallon tank set at the lowest air pressure setting. That's a lot of air. Also, the pump has 2 outlets, and one of the pictures on the web shows that it has two shafts.

Well, unlike the first one, this one came with a defect. It was loud, crackling and seemed like one of the ports was blocked from the inside. I only found out about this after waiting for another item to complete my tank. I reported this to Revane and as always responded quickly. I received a replacement within 4 days. This is a nice little relatively quiet air pump. It has two air vents that work independently, which is a nice feature. If one diaphragm fails, you usually have time to replace the pump before the other fails and you and your fish run out of air. My Hiraliy pump lasted 9 months until one of the diaphragms failed.
