🐠 HITOP Adjustable Submersible Aquarium Heater for 10-35 Gallon Tanks - 50W, 100W, 120W Review

My fault I didn't check the sizes. The 50 watts I ordered for my ten gallons is way more than I expected. Vertically it goes top to bottom of a standard 10 gallon. I have it standing horizontally and taking up half the width of the back of the tank. It was accurate and works well for the temperature. It is very durable and I would be comfortable having it in a turtle tank. In general I am satisfied with the purchase. When it comes time to replace it I'll look for a smaller heater.

I bought a 50w heater because the reviews were great. My pool temperature. I have two thermometers and both show a temperature change of 3-4 degrees. I am concerned that this wide swing could potentially harm my fish. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because the black paint heater goes well with the overall look of my aquarium and doesn't stick out like a thumb. .

Just wish it was a little shorter so I don't have to mount it on the back of the tank. Otherwise, for the price, it can't be beat. I sent back $25+ which almost boiled my tank when it was set to 80! This one stays accurate to within 1 degree and I love the low cost. I bought a second one for another tank and will definitely buy more if the need arises. I can't work with "set x degrees above room temperature" because the weather where I live is too unpredictable and the temperature in the tanks…

It's certainly ugly with bright orange accents, but it's priced right and it works well. The temperature adjustment knob is accurate enough for slight temperature changes, and the output power is the same as the rated power. The grade lines drawn are not very realistic, but I did not find the tank heaters where they are. If you regulate the heat, you should have a separate thermometer or thermometer strip. This is a common problem and manufacturers would be better off just giving you guidelines

Bought 4 x 100w heaters for my new aquarium, 2 broke on delivery. One of them sounded like bells in a box so I didn't open it and decided to return it, 2 were fine and not broken but the 4th had a big crack on the front of the glass which I hardly noticed because of the breakage was so straight it looked like a seam, but upon closer inspection I saw it was a deep crack in the glass tube near the heath base.
