The product was presented to me. The month went well. then the glue on the clamping arms for the silicone seals came loose after exposure to the sun. Not that I live in a hot climate, unless you think New Hampshire is hot. I'm looking for a replacement. It's not going to happen.

It's easy to install and remove - you just have to twist the lever on the back. It stays in place very well and keeps my large phone in its case. The phone is very easy to put on and take off. My only complaint is that the phone shifts when you're driving long distances. But this is pretty easy to fix.

I think what I like best is that it utilizes the useless CD slot in my car. I've tried vent mounts, windshield suction cups, and cup holder mounts; this one is definitely the best. If I have to complain, I can't see the time/radio gauge because it's in the way, but my car has a navigation system on the dashboard, so the screen shows the same information there.

This is a really great way to provide a good phone holder if you don't plan on using your CD player. I don't think I've ever used my CD player since I bought my car. 01/06/19: I was happy to finally find a smartphone holder for my car that really works and stays in place! When I opened the box I didn't know how to get it out of the box - was all that box really necessary? After taking the holder out of the box and picking it up, it was easy to install it in my car's CD slot. How long it will take? The time will show. I will update this review when I get the results. Love this little device! I have a 2008 Mazda 3 and just don't have the space to store a Samsung Galaxy S-9+. This is the perfect solution as I don't even use my CD player. As I don't use a CD player, this type of phone holder suits me. I have not tried the type of holder that fits in the air vents as it is more likely to damage fragile air vents than this type can damage the built in CD player.
