Excellent quality. Great set with a large selection. Good flange thickness that has held up well. If used correctly, this set will last a very long time. However, depending on their size and material, they require the right approach, and as a beginner I "burned" some material and ended up with some not-so-nice holes. Larger holesaws have a bar brace that fits between the hole saw and the bead and isn't thick enough (or more likely I let it overheat and kept applying pressure) and warped/bent on
OK for a few holes but poor quality. useful set, not the right tool. After the first hole, which took about 5 times longer than it should have, with the blade squeaking and burning and overheating my powerful Makita drill bit, it was obvious there was a small tooth misalignment. It is enough that there is a gap between the cup and the hole to be drilled. The same goes for the severed slice of wood, which is stuck in the cup so tightly that you can only get it out by disassembling the toolโฆ
Okay first let me say you need to understand that you get what you pay for . A quality hole saw set will set you back over $100. If you buy it for less than $15, you must understand that there will be some differences. That being said, I needed this to cut some holes in MDF (about 0.5" thick). The saw was perfect for the job. However, I realized very quickly that the way it was compressed added to it can cause the tree to 'hop', so I had to use clamps to keep the tree from spinning and hittingโฆ
