Holley 37-396 Carburetor Overhaul Kit Review

Good quality kit, I was able to rebuild a Holley 2300 in a matter of hours and my FJ40 was back on the road later in the day. The kit includes everything from gaskets and diaphragms to a tape measure for setting the float level. If your 2300 is slow give it a try before you buy a brand new carb, it could save you a few hundred bucks.

That was the wrong set, it didn't fit my carburetor. Since I was looking for my carburetor by serial number and ordered a matching conversion kit, I opened the package on arrival, which in turn made it impossible for me to return it. So I wasted as much money as they charged me plus the two weeks I spent waiting for them to arrive.

The description specifically states that the kit is compatible and the correct parts for the carburetor we purchased it for, which is not the case. The needle valve is not what you need and the seals have different cutouts. This is absolutely not the correct kit for the part number it was intended for. This cannot be fully ascertained without opening the box and the box clearly states that if the seal is broken the kit cannot be returned. Also, there was no filter. catch.
