🚀 Holley HOL 37-119 Carburetor Renew Kit: Enhanced Performance and Efficiency! Review

No Instructions. Completely wrong gasket set. I didn't know it was wrong until I discovered it. Of course it is non-refundable. To some extent my fault for believing the review. I checked other number sets and they all have the same overview. I don't think this is the best item to order online.

Please note this is for 4160 series carburetors if you have a 4150 series carburetor (visible gauge between carburetor body and gut both front and rear) for work there are not enough seals. Advertisers are not entirely clear about this. If you have a 4160 carb this is a good base kit for the price.

Used on Holley 1850-3 carburetors. The only thing I didn't like was that there were no gaskets for the float cups and level screws. Also, the fuel hose o-rings were a bit flimsy and one of them failed after 100 miles. The seller did everything right and gave me a partial refund as I have no complaints about the rest of the kit.

This is a good (almost) complete kit to set up and run your Holley carburettor like new. It also includes the specs and instructions you need to get the job done. The only thing you may not need is a vacuum secondary diaphragm in case your carb has and requires one. Luckily, you can get it here at Revain for just a few bucks. Holley 135-4 vacuum secondary diaphragm.

This kit is not needed if you have a Holley 4160 carburetor with an additional metering block instead of a metering plate. This kit gives you everything you need if you have a secondary output plate, but you won't get enough of a bowl liner if you have an output block instead of a plate. My Holley Street Avenger 4160 has a gauge block so I was missing a bowl liner which luckily I was able to salvage when disassembling.

Recently ordered this repair kit. I finally got around to rebuilding a 4160 carburetor. This kit had most of the parts I needed and was fairly easy to rebuild. My only complaint is that this kit doesn't come with a new secondary vacuum diaphragm. After taking everything apart I found that the membrane was completely removed so I had to order this part separately. It's not listed as enabled so really my fault for not checking it in advance.
