Purchased to make a porch gate for my dogs. Split in two, then add legs, hinges, hooks and doorstop. And painted it badly white under the porch. So far, so good.

I ordered it in grey. It is very beautiful, but one of the scrolls arrived broken. It's the right size, but considering you have to fold it in half to stand on its own, it gets significantly narrower than 81 inches.

Heavier and taller than the corresponding model, only 3 panels. I'm having a hard time stepping over this big one, 5'4". That's training in my own home. So now I'm just moving a panel that can swing like a door or move IF you put it half an inch over off the ground This is a good size for large breeds.

We have two puppies that need to be separated from carpeted rooms until they go potty. I didn't want to score but it's a necessity. If you have to live with puppy gates, I can't think of a more attractive solution. My husband is tall enough to step over but I have to move them to get over. It is durable and therefore easy to open and close.

If you have a medium or agile sized dog they can jump over it... but for my purposes it's absolutely perfect and at a great price. FYI: Currently (December 21st) it's cheaper to buy 3 panels than 4 panels if you need multiple gates to cover more space. I use them around my bed and shelves, Christmas tree. etc to prevent my puppy from chewing or crawling under/over.

I bought 2 as there are 2 entrances in my living room. I have 3 small dogs (4.5lbs, 5.5lbs and 10lbs). They're heavy enough that my little ones can't push them. They don't even start. However, if you don't put them against the wall outside the room, when your dog pushes them, the gate will bump against the edge of the wall. I really like this gate because it is attractive. It came out of the box ready to use, no assembly required which is a bonus. I didn't have any problems with loops like other reviewers. Did you find minimal scratches and chips - yes, but is it worth leaving negative feedback or sending back - no. As shown! It looks WAY better than most barriers! I use it on stairs with no wall on one side just with exposed railing so I had to use a free standing gate. My 5 month old pup is currently 23lbs and is exploring but it's been a week and she hasn't knocked him over.
