I've always preferred stainless steel cleaners that hide the brush (or plunger) and this is a good option. The brush is concealed by a tubular steel chamber when not in use, and the brush is black so even when in use it doesn't look as sharp as a white brush might. It's worth investing in cheaper brushes that stay visible if you want your bathroom to look good. If you are a bachelor I would say it is a must.

This toilet brush had to be thrown away after 2 weeks of use. It's thin, very cheap, and immediately started to rust badly both inside and out. It looked so gross! Mind you, this was in a low-traffic restroom with no shower or condensation. Also, I wiped it outside almost daily - it was still rusty. And the brush kept unscrewing itself from the stick. I keep a very clean house, so looking at this rusty thing gives me goosebumps. An absolute waste of money.

Terrible quality. Broke during assembly. The thread attaching the tip of the rod to the brush appears to have been snapped. So getting angry wasn't an option. You have to use force. Unfortunately, glue, solder, or whatever is holding the threads inside the rod will break when you try to put them together. Because it's technically unthreaded, the rod will bend at the connection point when in use. It's really thin and cheap. I returned it and ordered something else. I think if the rod was metal…

I bought two of these almost three years ago. I will say that at first I thought they were both well done, in fact I had no problems with them for the first year. In the second year they did start to rust a bit, but the worst part is that the handle comes off too easily. What they had to do was make sure the thread went all the way to the little ball at the top of the handle and the handle didn't come loose - with time and use it loosens up and won't stay in place.
