This is not a sealed container. When you close the lid, there are gaps on the sides through which air enters and an unpleasant smell comes out. I bought 2 of these and this is a problem with both. I'm not sending it back, I'm not going to eat, I'm sending it to the workshop.

Great idea as I am buying deluxe Kraft cheese that is packaged the same as the container. My problem is that the top doesn't stay snapped in, leaving my cheese hard and crispy. Now I wrap a rubber band around the box to keep it from closing, so that's disappointing.

If you're looking for an airtight container, this is absolutely not it. It can be useful for storing something but definitely not cheese as the plastic is so thin it bends easily leaving a gap in the middle. Very disappointed with this product as it does not work as intended.

It sits on a shelf in the fridge door and the shelf gives when you try to push the lid hard enough to close it. We need to put both hands under the shelf and touch each corner of the top of the container to snap the lid open. Works fine as long as it clicks. Had some dried cheese crusts before I realized it.

Sturdy. perfect size I can store 2 packs of cheese in it. We use cheese very quickly in our household and feed several people. However, it could become a problem if it takes longer. The box does not close well. In fact, it's not sealed at all. It snaps into place, but there are gaps and nothing can be done about it. It's a great idea, but poorly implemented. I'll look for something similar that seals better.

After reading the previous reviews I bought it. What I got is what I expected. Not sealed. but when properly closed and in a cheese drawer, the airflow is minimal and acceptable for individually wrapped cheese slices and most likely loose wrapped cheese slices. With a double compartment it helps organize my cheese box which has multiple options to choose from which was one of the reasons I bought it. I suspect the hinges will fail over time but after a few months there is no sign of wear. When you want easy access to standard sized cheese slices and an easy way to semi-seal them between uses (my 92 year old dad has a hard time with ziplock plastic bags). If you keep it full or don't mind empty space in your fridge.
