So far so good. Quiet, increases the humidity in the room, the water tank is large and is enough for two nights. If it continues like this, I can only recommend it.

Evaporation is normal, but the fan motor became very noisy after about two weeks of quiet operation. It is impossible to fall asleep while this device is working. It's just too loud.

Works as described. Very quiet. Beautiful view. I only use filtered water and haven't had the white dust issues that some reviewers have mentioned. Used 24/7, 365 in our bedroom. I always leave the feature enabled. Seems to help our sinus problems more.

Do not buy this item if you do not want to use distilled water. Although I used the demineralization cartridge that came with the kit, the first time I filled the tank it stopped producing fog. And VERY difficult to clean.

I usually like Homedics and have had other humidifiers in the past. My previous one lasted a few years but this one stopped working completely after 3 months of simple use. This is a new version as my previous version was discontinued, so I think there might be issues with the new version.

I got this humidifier a few months ago. It worked fine for a while and a few days ago it only started shutting down after about an hour or so even though the timer wasn't on. I thought I just needed to replace the demineralization cartridge but it still doesn't last. I got this because it has a warm fog function but it's not worth buying.

update - 10 days after the first start very satisfied with the device. "White Dust" wasn't that bad, comes with territory in an ultrasonic humidifier. As for any complaints about cleaning. Are you kidding me? At the moment I wash it once a week. Pull out the tank, rinse well and at the same time rinse the steam nozzle. A 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water on a cotton swab will clean the ultrasonic device. Lasts every 5 minutes. I think if I really wanted to clean the barrel really well I could…

My asthma has been terrible this winter and I keep waking up with terrible headaches, my skin is dry on a good day etc. So I tried this humidifier. I wanted warm air to see if there's a difference, and if so, a small one.
